INTERACTIVE FORUM IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE FIVE

According to ACN: The International Interactive Forum "No MoreInjustice, Release them Now," reported dozens of messages ofsolidarity with The Five and more than 300 visits from people comingfrom 18 nations, the Trabajadores weekly newspaper reported onMonday. Participants in the Forum, held as part of the 7th editionof the Common Front of Ideas which brought together in the Isle ofYouth press professionals from around the country, demanded of USPresident Barack Obama to put an end to the unjust imprisonment ofthese five Cuban heroes, incarcerated in the United States foralmost 13 years now. The information adds that these Internet usersdeclared themselves to be in favor of the effective use of newtechnologies to spread the truth about this case, in such a way thatthe wall of silence that big corporations of information have builtaround Fernando Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, RamonLaba?ino and Rene Gonzalez can be broken. Participants in the Forum -from the US, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Sweden, Brazil andArgentina, among other countries-, denounced the violations of theUS law related to prisoners' rights and of international law,evidenced in the process against these Cuban patriots.
